En route home, Draco thought it best to pick up a little something for Harry. He knew he was going to be in for a lecture from his husband, since he had promised that he wouldn't get suckered into indulging their girls and their whims.

Harry wouldn't mind, though. He always indulged the girls too - just maybe not quite as much as Draco. But Draco was sure, once Harry saw Alexa's face soften at the contact, that he would agree it was the right thing to do. After all, she was so serious so much of the time, it would be nice to see her more relaxed.

Finding what he wanted, he exited Honeydukes - oh, alright, he bought a bunch of the girls' favourite chocolates too, but really it wouldn't have been fair to buy Harry some chocolate and not the girls.

As he had expected, he had to endure Harry's teasing lecture, and something about being 'wrapped around their little fingers,' but Draco took it in stride. He saw the twinkle in Harry's eyes, and the twitching of his mouth, so he knew it was all for show.

They had had a lovely family dinner, and he had given Harry a gift-wrapped box of chocolates, which he had been pleased with. They had all spent some time setting up the bunnies' cage, and taking it in turns to cuddle and play with them, before it was time for the girls to get to bed. Harry was currently tucking them in, while Draco prepared a special little treat for his husband.

"Mmm," Harry said as he entered the kitchen. "Something smells good."

"It's a special little something just for us."

"What is it?" Harry asked as he watched Draco pour a warm, cream-coloured liquid of some kind into a bowl.

"White chocolate," he said as he dipped a strawberry into the bowl, and lifted it to Harry's mouth.

"Tastes wonderful," Harry said, taking care to lick the excess off Draco's finger in the process of eating the strawberry.

Draco let out a groan, casting a lust-filled gaze at his husband. "Let's move this to the bedroom. It's time for the grown-ups to play now."

Milk chocolate is the BEST! Yeah, I'm not a big white chocolate fan myself, but that was the prompt, so I made it taste that much better (in my own mind) by adding strawberries and H/D love. ;)

I don't much care for milk chocolate, either. Give me the richest, darkest chocolate you can find - 75%, 80% - I love the bitter bite at the back of the throat with a really excellent super-dark chocolate. Hershey's Special Dark will do in a pinch (and is my preferred baking chocolate), but for eating out-of-hand, I want an extra-dark gourmet chocolate.

Bah! I agree wholeheartedly on the white chocolate (it takes ... artificial, I suppose). I'm okay with dark chocolate in a pinch, but Belgian or Swiss milk chocolate ... mmmmmm! Lindor - oh, yeah!

I'm partial to Scharffen Berger from California, and Caillebaut from France.

And Vosges Haut-chocolat makes some amazing chocolate truffles with all kinds of interesting flavorants (candied violets, guajillo and pasilla chiles, ginger/wasabi/sesame seed, curry/coconut, Chinese star anise/fennel, ancho chile and cinnamon, white chocolate with Kalamata olives and XVOO, hazelnuts and aged balsamic vinegar... the list goes on and on). They're pricy, but they are some of the most AMAZING chocolates I've ever tasted. Some are milk, some are white and some are dark. Check out their website.

Thankfully I'm not a choco-holic (that's right ... I'm female and I could survive the rest of my life without chocolate) or this would have me running out to get some! ;)

You know something? I can live without chocolate. I'm down 117.6 lbs in 30 weeks since surgery; I have 80 lbs to reach my goal (105 to reach the goal the surgeon set).

I had a big fight with my mother 8 days before the surgery; she was scared and didn't want me to do it. I told her that, 37 years old with high blood pressure, incipient diabetes, constant knee, hip and back pain - and gay - I didn't relish the thought of living another 25 or 30 years and dying old-before-my-time and alone. (There are no body-fascists in the world like gay men; I hadn't had a date in a year when I had the surgery.) I was (and am) more than happy to trade some difficult-to-manage foods, and some seriously bad eating habits, for a chance at a longer, healthier life... and maybe, just maybe, when I've lost the weight and had the plastic surgery, I'll meet someone attractive who actually likes me back. And if not - well, I'll still be healthier and happier than I was when I was fat.

Being a choclate addict, I don't really like white chocolate. It's just like a bad substitute of chocolate - and it's the only one I can eat since I'm also allergic to chocolate since 2005.

But hey, this was hot and fluffy and suggestive! I can't wait for anyone to ask for the sequel, since my own birthday is next spring!
