Summary:   Draco wants to dance, but Harry is reluctant.

Draco reached out a hand, as he heard his favourite waltz begin to play.

"I don't want to dance," Harry said defiantly, still stinging from the argument they had had earlier.

"Harry, please?" Draco asked. "After all, it is your friends' anniversary party. We can have the one dance, then go, alright?" When Harry glared at him, he continued. "We can continue to fight later when we get home, get it all out of our systems, and then have some fabulous make-up sex. But for now, we should dance."

Grudgingly, Harry took his husband's hand and walked with him onto the dance floor. The two men embraced and began to dance. In Draco's arms, Harry could feel his anger and outrage begin to drain away. The familiar scent and touch of him, the warmth of this man in his arms filled Harry with contentment. The feel of Draco's hands rubbing circles on his back caused Harry to relax in his embrace. He pulled him in closer, resting his head on Draco's shoulder.

When the song was over, Harry whispered in his ear, "What was that you were saying about make-up sex?"

A person can't really skim over a drabble, can they. Had to read it twice before I realized that they weren't going to have make up sex because they "argued" over waltzing.

How about "awwww"? I know that's not what you were searching for, but I'm too tired to come up with something profound. Everything but the other person is trivial in comparison. Something about soul mates ... completing each other ... so in tune with one another that the anger dissipates, to be replaced by the knowledge that, in the other's arms, you are safe, whole, together as one.

I think Harry knew he would melt, which is the reason he didn't want to dance. He was determined to stay mad. And once in Draco's arms, whose mind wouldn't go to sex? Anyone? Anyone at all? Didn't think so. :D
