1. Sleepless in Slytherin Prompt: performance

“Harry, what’s wrong with you?” Hermione asked.

“Nothing, really. I’m just a bit tired.”

“A bit? I haven’t seen you looking this wiped out since right after the final battle. Are you sure you’re okay? Maybe you’re coming down with something.”

“Just leave it, Hermione, yeah?”

“Maybe you should see the matron. Maybe she could rustle you up a potion.”

“Hermione, just shut it.”

“But Harry, you look awful. Are you sure -- “

“Let’s just say Draco out-performed himself last night, and leave it at that, okay?”

Harry enjoyed the shocked look on her face, after all that pestering.

 

2. Friends and Lovers Prompt: struggle

Harry was struggling with how to tell Ron about his relationship with Draco.

They had been seeing each other for three months, and decided that it was silly to keep their relationship a secret now that Voldemort was dead. Even though Gryffindors and Slytherins were at each others’ throats as a rule, it hadn’t prevented the occasional couple from emerging between the two rival houses. Most friends would come around eventually.

No, Harry’s problem was Ron. Malfoys and Weasleys just didn‘t get on.

“Here’s the thing, Ron. Malfoy and I are … well, we’re together. Don’t bother arguing --”

“Okay.”

“What?!?” Harry couldn’t believe his ears. “What do you mean okay?”

“Well, I would think that was obvious. If he makes you happy, then it’s okay with me.”

“Who are you, and what did you do with my best mate?”

“Here’s the thing, Harry. After everything that we’ve all been though, don’t you think life is enough of a struggle? Why not enjoy what you can? I know I plan to.”

Harry was sure that someone had messed with Ron’s head, but he wasn’t going to argue with him.

“Of course you know I’ll kill him if he hurts you.”

 

3. Inspiration Prompts: indecisive, chocolate, weakness

Harry wanted to get Draco something special for Valentine's Day, but he knew he didn't do "romantic" very well. What he did do very well was Draco.

As he looked through countless shops, he found himself getting more indecisive as time went on, until he went into the sexy toy shop in muggle London. He was too well-known to buy sex toys from a wizard shop, so here he was.

As Harry moved along to the "edible aisle," he was downright inspired. He licked his lips in anticipation. Oh, yes, tonight would be perfect. After all, chocolate was Draco's weakness.

 

4. Now What? Prompt: next

Standing on the battlefield, Harry Potter looked around him, and watched the last of the Death Eaters being taken away.

Harry had defeated the most powerful dark wizard there ever was. He had done it repeatedly in his short lifetime, but this time it was over. He had really done it.

So what was next for the Boy Who Lived, the Chosen One, the Saviour of the Wizarding World?

Harry looked over at Draco across the battlefield, and took a deep breath. They caught each other's eyes and smiled. Whatever came next, Harry knew he had Draco by his side.

Draco had finally made a decision for himself. He had turned against his family, his upbringing, his expected place alongside the Dark Lord.

He had helped the Order - no, Harry - defeat the most powerful dark wizard there ever was. He had made the right decision. And now it was over.

So what was next for the Death Eater's son, the Prince of Slytherin, the Traitor to the Pureblood Cause?

He looked across the battlefield at Harry, and they smiled at each other. He knew that whatever came next, he would not be alone. He would always have Harry.

oooo. i absolutely loved each and every one of these! i do have to say, i think the first one is my favorite. i can sooo see that being spun into a short story!!

i was eating when i read the first one, and i started choking because i couldn't stop laughing. :-)

Oooohhhhh they were good! I liked the last one (because I have a weakness for that kind of set up; where you see it from both POVs). And I second icyaurora8 - the first one would rock as a short story (mainly because I want to see the smut *shakes head at self*)
