Houdini's Hardware

"What are you looking at?"

Harry scrambled to hide the incriminating Muggle book -- really, he'd just picked it up on a lark and had no intention of being caught with it -- but Draco was too quick.

"Accio magazine." The offending publication flew into Draco's outstretched hand. Harry watched, face getting redder by the second, as Draco flipped through to find and read the article he'd been reading.

Draco's eyebrows alternately lifted in question then furrowed in what Harry could only assume was confusion. Either that or it was distress. Considering the content of the article, it could go either way.

"Exactly why do you have number twenty flagged?" Draco asked, his voice ominous, as he pointed to one of the items on the page. Oh, shit.

"Er …" Harry didn't know what to say. He had thought to buy it as a gag gift, but he didn't think Draco would find it quite so funny now.

"Indeed." Draco looked down at the article, then up at Harry, then down at the article and back at Harry. "Surely you weren't going to suggest that this … this … piece of plumbing would be worn by me?" He looked down again at the page and scowled. Then his face broke into a grin. Not good. "Or perhaps you were going to offer to wear it yourself … when you go to the Burrow and you're around the she-weasel? The idea has merit."

"No way!" Harry yelled.

"No?" Draco asked. "Then what, pray tell, did you intend for this Houdini Locking Steel Cock Chastity, Harry, if not to be worn?

"It was just a joke. You know. I was thinking it would be a good gag gift."

Draco's eyebrows lifted so high at Harry's comment that they were hidden in his fringe. "A gag gift, hmm?"

He reached into a drawer and pulled out a different Muggle magazine, one that had bondage pictures on the front, one that left very little to the imagination. Harry's jaw dropped at the sight of it.

"Well, then …" Draco's grin was positively feral, and he very nearly growled as he handed Harry the book. "Might I suggest something from this instead?"
