Late Night Snack
Ron wandered into the kitchen, hoping for a late night snack. When he opened the fridge, he saw the leftover birthday cake from the celebration they'd had that afternoon.
Viktor had turned thirty, and the team had taken him out to a local pub for dinner. The party had gone on until two o'clock in the morning, when Ron had dragged a content and very drunk Viktor home.
Ron pulled the cake out of the fridge and sat down with a fork and a Quidditch magazine. A short while later he was startled by the sound of Viktor approaching.
"You did not just eat all of that cake!" Viktor's deep voice carried from the doorway.
Sure enough, Ron looked at the empty plate guiltily; he had eaten it all. He shrugged and blushed in response.
"Come back to bed," Viktor said, chuckling.
"I'm not really tired," Ron protested.
"I didn't say anything about sleeping," Viktor said, waggling his eyebrows.
"Feeling up to it now?" Ron teased, since Viktor had been in no shape to do anything but pass out when they'd arrived home earlier.
"But of course," Viktor bristled. "Besides, you need to work off all that cake!"
