Harry sat on their sofa in Draco's arms, his back to Draco's chest, snuggled in for the night. Their living room was lit only with the lights from their Christmas tree. When he looked up at Draco, he could see them reflected in the deep grey pools of his eyes. Harry sighed with contentment. It didn't get much better than this.
"Harry, about the tree ..."
"It's beautiful, isn't it, Draco?"
"Yes it is, but --"
"I'm so glad you insisted on real fairies. They make all the difference in the world."
Draco smiled at Harry. "I told you they would. There's something extra special about fairy magic."
"Yes there is. And something special about our first tree."
"Harry, I think it's time --"
"Our first tree, Draco. Can you believe that we've been together for almost a year? It feels like only yesterday we were putting the tree up together."
"It's time, Harry."
"But I don't want to take it down yet," Harry pouted. "It's special. Our first Christmas together."
"I know, Harry, but --"
"Just a little while longer?"
"No, Harry, I really have to insist. It's getting embarrassing."
"But --"
"Harry, it's Easter next week. Perhaps we can decorate for that instead."
As soon as Harry jumped up and started conjuring pink and yellow and orange ribbon, Draco knew he would regret this. He had visions of them living in a pastel nightmare for the next seven months, until Hallowe'en came round.
"I should have let him keep the tree up," he grumbled.

And let's not forget that Harry didn't really get to celebrate holidays when he was young, so of course he might go a little overboard... okay A LOT overboard!
