God, I love reading about Lucius and Narcissa as if they were real people - not wooden sterotypical cold-hearted serpents. Truly, I appreciate that.

And I loved, loved, loved, that Draco made the distinction between loving the man who was his father, and not agreeing the wizard that made horrible choices.

You astound me with your brilliance, darling.

Very, very well done!

Wow! That's a comment that's good for the ego. Thanks.

Because we see everything through Harry's eyes in the books, we don't get to see them without his 'filter' - that's what makes fanfic so great, because we can explore the other characters from different views.

I'm glad you liked it.

Just caught up with these. I really love the in-depth look at Draco as a person, and not the cariacture he was in the books.

Thanks. It's fun to explore characters without looking through Harry's eyes all the time.

I just finished the next draft, Draco's thoughts on Hogwarts. I'll be posting that later today.

Awww, I loved this. I could just picture this tiny little white haired boy walking hand in hand with his mother through the garden. I think DH did so much in helping us see the love the Malfoy's have for each other. Even though they made some dubious choices, when all is said and done, their true loyalty lies with family. *hugs*

Yeah, me too! I can totally see his 'quiet time' being with Mother out in the gardens, doing practical and whimsical magic with her ... and his more serious magic, potions and 'typical boy stuff' being with Father.

Glad you enjoyed it, hon. Elektra has the next one awaiting her approval when she gets home from work, then it goes to June. And I'm currently working on the one after that. *wipes brow*

Once I get past our main three characters, these articles are definitely going to be of the shorter variety. Like a couple hundred words for each prompt.

No prob. Totally understand. I was going to tell you, if you aren't inspired by one of them, you can just write the ones you want. Or even stop at Harry. Pick it up again when I do the Draco/Harry cover. We can play it by ear. I'm easy. I feel guilty sometimes, because you have so much going on and this is such a time consuming project.

Heh. You didn't make me do it, so no worries.

I'll probably do an intro article, then do three more (each broken up into three sections, using three prompts). That way, I complete the tables, but I'm not struggling to make up too much about who the characters are.

Awwww, I'm really enjoying these articles about Draco's childhood (and thrilled that you found the time to do them :D). I especially liked the discussion of Lucius as a father, and Draco seems to have enjoyed his childhood well enough. :)

Thanks. I'm glad you like them so far. The next one is done & about to be sent to June, so I'll post in the morning most likely.

Next one is partially done, so I hope to post it late tomorrow, depending on time differences between Spain (where June is), Milwaukee (Alaana is my Draco-voice approver) and here. :D
