Once they arrived at Grimmauld Place, Draco pulled a stocking out from beneath his cloak and handed it to Harry. Harry groaned; he could wait for his stocking. What he couldn't wait for was to get his hands on his boyfriend again. Humouring Draco, Harry handed his expectant boyfriend his stocking as well. They emptied them quickly enough, but when Harry found an unmarked bottle at the bottom, he looked quizzically at Draco.

Draco waggled his eyebrows, took the bottle and guided Harry upstairs. No sooner had they entered Harry's bedroom than they were devouring each other. There was nothing soft or gentle about their kisses. This time, they were overcome with such passion that breathing seemed insignificant in comparison. Their clothes were shed on their way to the bed.

Harry swatted Draco's hand away as he made to remove his pants. "Let me," Harry said, voice raspy with desire. "I want to undress you."

Draco chuckled. "A bit late for that, Harry."

"Let me?" Harry asked, pressing slow kisses across Draco's jaw and down his chest, swirling his tongue over a nipple and causing Draco to gasp in pleasure. Despite their hurried start, Harry wanted their first time to be tender, loving. He wanted to express physically just how much he felt for this man. He had long since past the point of no return where his feelings were concerned.

"Merlin, Harry, keep this up and I'll let you do anything you want."

Harry chuckled. "I'll keep that in mind." He continued to kiss his way down Draco's body as he laid him on his back, then took his time lowering Draco's pants to reveal the last of his body. "Gorgeous," Harry whispered, raking his eyes over Draco's naked and willing form. He made short order of his own pants, then lowered himself on top of Draco, aligning their bodies, for the first time feeling flesh upon flesh as their erections rubbed against each other.

Draco grasped Harry behind the neck and pulled him down into a heated kiss, their tongues tasting each other greedily. Harry once again made his way down Draco's chest, stopping to nibble on each nipple in turn, and causing Draco to squirm deliciously beneath him. As Harry circled Draco's navel with his tongue, Draco jutted his hips up.

Harry continued to tease, planting kisses on Draco's stomach, his hips, his thighs. Then, as Harry took Draco's cock in his mouth, the blonde cried out, "Oh, Gods!"

Though he had never done this before, Harry knew what he liked, and he took his time, wanting to savour the moment. Based on the moaning Draco was doing, Harry figured he was doing a fine enough job of it.

Harry felt Draco grab his hair, and pull him up. "Want to come with you inside me, Harry." Draco kissed him frantically, then taking a breath growled, "Want to feel you ... inside me ... now."

Draco handed Harry the bottle, and everything became clear. Harry took his time to prepare Draco, then slicked his own cock generously, and pressed slowly in. Feels so hot, so tight, Harry thought, and was lost in the feel of Draco's channel enveloping him with heat.

They made love unhurriedly, gazing into each other's eyes as long as they could, Harry wanting to savour the moment and the look of ecstasy on Draco's face. Eventually, it got too much for them, and their eyes shut as their pace quickened. Harry was lost in the sensation of it all, until he felt Draco's body stiffen, and his come spurt between them.

As Draco's passage contracted around him, Harry felt the familiar tightening in his stomach, spreading to his bollocks and a few strokes later, he was pumping his seed into Draco's channel and screaming his lover's name.

They lay there for several minutes, catching their breath and softly kissing each other, before Draco gathered his wand and cast a cleaning spell on them. Harry pulled Draco into his arms, and drifted off.

He awoke to find Draco beside him, caressing his arm and looking into his eyes dreamily. "I love you, Harry."

"Mm. Love you too," Harry said. He noticed a determined look on Draco's face. "What is it?" he asked.

"I'll never be able to tell you just how much that painting means to me, Harry. I can't imagine a more wonderful gift," Draco said, gazing into Harry's eyes. "I find my memories tainted by what happened in the end, when things went downhill, and you've given me something special to remind me of a time when things were good." Draco leaned in and gave Harry a kiss.

"I can't believe you went into Muggle London to dig up information on my mother's family," Harry countered. "And if that's not enough, you want to help me find the rest of the details." He paused to brush a stray piece of hair out of Draco's eyes. "I've always felt disconnected, you know. And now I guess I don't feel so alone in this world."

Draco smiled at him. "Happy Christmas, Harry."

Harry smiled back and pressed a soft kiss against Draco's forehead. "Yes, it is."

At first I thought the bottle would be some sort of potion and felt disappointed. They hardly need any extra spice at this point. I was so glad it turned out to be lube, and their first time was "just them". You've written their lovemaking beautifully.

Babe, sorry it's taken me so long to comment. I just wanted to make you wait like you made me wait for the smex. *lol* Actually, I wanted to read the whole series over before I commented. I loved the last chapter and the warm and loving sex at the end. And Draco is such a smart boy, putting lube in Harry's stocking! I bet Harry never thought he'd be getting that from Santa. But I really loved the whole concept of the story, that their friendship could be triggered by Draco reading that long-ago letter of Harry's to Santa. I'm glad they allowed themselves to form that friendship, and to let it progress. It's good to see them both so happy. And I loved Narcissa as well. Here's hoping that Harry's other friends can pull their heads out of their asses and see how happy Draco has made Harry.
Looking forward to revisiting this universe at Valentine's...

Finally read this, and I'm so pleased I did. The length scared me off at first, but the pacing and atmosphere were so good, I finished it in a day.
Glad your Narcissa isn't the Evil Witch she sometimes is in fanfic. I prefer this way.

I'm glad you did read it. It started out as a response to a prompt, but I decided to make it last for the entire two weeks of prompts, so it grew from there.

I like a loving Narcissa. She loves her son, after all, and wants what's best for him. She can be nasty to others, but when it comes to Draco, her heart is golden. And in this case, Harry is what he wants, so she supports that. :)

I liked the painting part too ... I think it's what held the most emotion for me (and Draco, of course). I'll revisit this in February when they do the next series of quickies, so we'll see if Harry's friends are better behaved by then.
