Okay ... this (very cheesy) limerick [is there any other kind?] is in response to a challenge from
fiona_fawkes.
I chose to respond to #2 - "I think your balls are hanging too low ..."
To and Fro
"I think your balls are hanging too low,
They seem to be dangling to and fro.
Let me help you dear,
We'll just move them up here,"
Harry heard Molly say to Draco.
Listening in shock outside in the hall,
Harry ran into the room, standing tall.
"What's this that I hear?"
He asked loud and clear.
As he saw Molly holding a ball.
Harry calmed his rapid-beating heart,
As he realized his mistake with a start.
To keep safe from harm,
From a little babe's arm,
She'd moved the Christmas balls apart.
She had taken the ones from below,
Moved them up out of reach in one go,
Now the baby was free,
To crawl up to the tree,
Without them having to keep saying "No!"
So the moral of this tale I am told,
Is don't assume everyone's quite so bold.
Not everyone around,
Will eventually be found,
Grasping that which you most like to hold.
~ Merry Christmas!
