Valentine's Day, Hogwarts Grounds, 7:50 p.m.

Draco sat nervously at the edge of the lake, anticipating Harry's arrival. Actually, he was more nervous about the idea of Harry not coming to meet him by the lake. What would he do then? Would Harry use the situation against him? He didn't think so, but they weren't exactly friends, were they?

He had finally plucked up enough courage to do something about this crush he had on Harry. Draco had, for the past week, been sending letters to Harry anonymously. He had virtually signed the last one, though, which was the reason he was so nervous now. He had told him in the letters that he wanted to be friends, possibly more. Who was he kidding? He definitely wanted to be more than friends with the Gryffindor. As he waited, he thought back to the past week.

Every morning he had awoken hard as a rock, with a fresh dream of Harry still lingering in his mind. And every morning he had wanked to images of Harry. All the while he touched himself, he imagined his hands to be Harry's hands, Harry's mouth, or Merlin, yes, Harry's arse. And what a fine arse Harry had. I see him as having had the crush for a long time, and finally convincing himself to send the letters. Only after the last one was sent, and he was sure Harry would figure out they were from him did his doubts come to the forefront. Then he started running scenarios through his mind, if Harry didn't return his feelings. And that's where this starts.

Even those of us who seem really strong and confident & "cheeky" end up second-guessing ourselves, and stressing about the potential ramifications. Er ... yeah. Perhaps a wee bit of my own personality crept in there ...
