"What was that?" Harry asked in confusion.

"I said that I am having a get-together at the Manor on Saturday night, and that I would be pleased if you would attend," Draco repeated with what sounded like forced patience.

Harry looked into his eyes and saw nothing but sincerity there. "But ... but you hate me," he reasoned.

"No, Pot--Harry, I don't hate you," Draco replied, looking away. "Look, if you'd rather not, that's fine. I'm sorry to have bothered you."

"No, wait!" He grabbed Draco's arm, turning him round. "I'd love to."

Smiling, Draco said, "See you at 8:00."
