Harry pushed his way into the room, trying very hard not to use magic. No sense drawing attention to the situation. The Prophet would get news of Draco’s survival soon enough.
The look of relief on his face filled Harry’s chest with warmth he hadn’t felt since …
“That’s my jumper,” Draco said as Harry removed his restraints.
“I needed to be close to you.”
“Mmm. How about even closer?”
“Sure, let’s just get out of here.”
“Um, sir … we need you to fill in – “
“We’ve missed the opportunity to be together for this long. YOU can wait.”
===========================
Harry stopped Draco from grabbing his wand and hexing a few staff members on their way out. “You can come back later, if you really feel the need to get them back. But right now, we’re going home where we can get reacquainted.”
They wasted no time apparating home as soon as the coast was clear.
Arriving in their bedroom, the two lovers gazed into each other’s eyes, grey meeting green. It was overwhelming.
“Just hold me,” Draco asked softly. That night, they slept peacefully in each other’s arms, which was far more intimate than anything else could have been.
=============================
The next morning, Draco wasted no time getting ‘reacquainted’ with Harry. “I can’t believe we missed the chance to shag last night!”
He wasn’t fooling Harry, though. They had both needed contact, to feel the touch of the other’s body, taste each other’s kisses, full of emotion, love, tenderness, but not passion.
Today, however, there would be none of that shite. Kisses were rough, tongues fought for dominance, bodies writhed against each other, hands frantically touched, grasped, pulled. Neither lasted long, but it was perfect.
They spent that day and the next in their flat, making up for lost time.
