"That was delicious," Draco said as he stretched his arms lazily over his head. "You outdid yourself."

Harry grinned. "Thanks. You know I like to go all out for our private Christmas dinners."

"So," Draco announced, "you made the dinner; let me clean this up and bring our coffee into the sitting room, shall I?"

"Sure," Harry agreed, giving him a peck on the cheek for good measure. "Then we can open the last present we have for each other." Draco smiled warmly. They had saved one present for after dinner since their first Christmas together. It made the day last a little longer.

Harry went into the sitting room and saw his final present for Draco under the tree. A little perplexed, he looked for his but didn't see one. It wasn't under the tree or on the mantel. When Draco approached, Harry was frowning.

"What's wrong, Harry?"

"Um," he said sheepishly. "I think I may have opened my last present by mistake."

"Nonsense," Draco argued. "I wouldn't have let you."

"But I don't see it anywhere."

Draco grinned widely. "That's because you have to find it."

"Where?"

"On the tree somewhere. Look at the fairies."

Harry looked at the twinkling lights on the tree, until ... one light near the back kept moving around. Swiftly, he captured the fairy in his hand, who collapsed on his palm. Looking quite exhausted, she lifted up a metal ... ring?

Harry turned around to find Draco looking up at him on bended knee. Taking Harry's free hand, he asked, "Harry, will you marry me?"

Almost dropping the fairy in his haste, Harry scooped Draco up off the floor and into a big hug. "Yes, Draco. Of course I'll marry you!"

Draco placed the ring on Harry's finger and smiled. "Looks like we both outdid ourselves this year."
