Heh. You're one of the few if the comments are any indication. But I'm glad there's some compassion for her, because no matter her misguided feelings, she is crushed by this.

And the seventh book? She was treated as a child or worse, pushed into the background while Harry and the 'grown-ups' (only a year older than Ginny) went about their business. Yeah, for a strong character, besides her remaining to fight - just like Colin did - she was left as this nothing character. Definite fail. Personally, I'd have been offended enough to NOT go sailing back into Harry's arms after that. *shrugs*
