Actually, this is just a snapshot in time, immediately after Hermione asked Harry about his favourite season, and the day after Draco said he was going back into the Death Eater fold as a spy. His emotions were running high, and the question got him thinking about things in his past. I think in a few days, he'll be able to regain focus, to a certain extent.
