Summary: Harry and Draco take a trip into the forest with predictable results.

"Why is it we're doing this, Potter?"
"The flower grows in the forest, it needs to be picked between midnight and five past, and I need help to do the job properly."
"And the fact that Longbottom happens to be the Herbology professor has escaped you?"
"He's nursing a damaged hand from some Bubotuber puss, as you well know. This requires delicate handling, and he entrusted me to the task."
"And I am here because ...?"
"Because you owe me. I covered for you the other day, and you agreed to whatever when I asked what I would get in return."
"Yes, well, I thought you'd come up with some sexual favour or something," Draco replied drolly.
"What?! What did you think I'd ask for in return, a blow job or something?"
"Or something." Draco grinned at the rising colour on Potter's neck. He'd harboured a thing for Potter for months now. Well, if he was honest with himself, he'd probably have to admit he'd always had a thing for him, but that was neither here nor there. His cock had been displaying keen interest in Potter for a few months, ever since Golden Boy had left his post as Auror and joined the staff as Defence professor. No harm throwing out a few hints here or there. He could still play them off as joking around, all the while gauging Potter's response.
"Sorry to disappoint, Malfoy, but this is all the repayment I'm asking for."
"Pity," he mused. "But the Forbidden Forest, Potter? It's forbidden for a reason. And we're going in there in the middle of the night?"
"What's the matter, Malfoy? Scared?"
"Certainly not!"
"If you say so," Harry smirked. What was up with that anyway? It was Draco's role to smirk. He always smirked. It was a Malfoy trait, showing the upper hand.
"Stop that!"
"Stop what?"
"Smirking."
"I'm not allowed to smirk now?"
"No! That's my job. You're supposed to say something asinine, and I smirk back. That's the order of things."
"Oh, and where in the 'order of things' does it say that I expect sexual favours in return for ... well, for anything? That sounds to me more like a Slytherin thing to do."
"Perhaps I was mistaken. I stand corrected."
"Maybe not so mistaken," he said and marched on ahead.
"What was that?" Draco asked, struggling to keep up. "Potter, wait up! What did you say?"
Harry stopped in his tracks, and Draco walked right into the back of him. Harry turned around and smirked again. "Oh, I think you heard me," he growled huskily, then turned around and kept walking. "Here it is," he said as he pointed to a patch of bright, pink petals.
"So why does this need two people to gather it? It looks straight forward to me."
"We can't use magic to cut or handle it, or it will diminish the medicinal properties of the flower. And it can't touch the ground, or it will lose all its magical properties, and be rendered useless for any potion. So I can't levitate it, and it needs to be set in this solution without coming into contact with the sides of the jar, so I figured it's too delicate a process for me to manage on my own."
"Well, you're probably right about that. So why is it that you asked me?"
"I told you. You owe me. Besides, I couldn't resist dragging you into the Forbidden Forest alone with me at midnight."
"And why is that?"
"You figure it out."
Draco looked him up and down before responding. "Right, let's cut them and get on with this."
"Anxious, aren't we?" Potter chuckled.
"Something like that, Potter. Just cut them already."
"Can't. It's not midnight yet."
"How much longer?"
"Only a couple minutes."
"Shame that."
Harry smirked.
"Stop with the smirking already!"
Harry withdrew the jars from the pack he'd brought with him, unscrewed the lids and laid them out, ready to insert the flowers in a timely fashion. "You know, I was almost sorted into Slytherin," Harry blurted out.
"What? But ... how did you end up in Gryffindor?"
"Told the hat I wanted to go there, so it put me there."
"What?"
"It's time."
He would have to ask Potter about the sorting hat another time. They cut the flowers, placed them safely in the solution without damage, and put the jars back into the pack.
"So ... why exactly was it you wanted to drag me into the -- AARRGH!" Draco pulled out his wand and started shooting spells into the darkness, towards the source of a sudden scurrying noise that had startled him. "What was that?"
Harry was rolling on the ground, howling with laughter.
"What is so funny, Potter?"
"This is the reason I dragged you into the forest." He continued to laugh and roll around like he was having a fit of some kind.
"So that some man-eating beast could get at me?" Draco replied.
Harry collapsed again in a fresh fit of giggles. "Squirrel."
"What?"
"Your man-eating beast was a squirrel. An ordinary, every day, Muggle variety squirrel." He wiped a stray tear that had made its way down his cheek. "Oh, you're too much, Malfoy. That was priceless! You should have seen yourself flailing away."
Draco stomped off in a huff.
"But ... but wait! Malfoy! Draco, wait! I was just kidding. I didn't drag you in here to laugh at you. Seriously. It was just an added bonus."
Draco turned round to glare at Harry, twisting his wand dangerously between his fingers.
Harry took a tentative step towards him. "I ... well ... I wouldn't object to some of those sexual favours after all," he suggested hopefully.
Draco stood open-mouthed, seething with rage. "You wish!"
