This is the first of ten gift ficlets I wrote for my cabin-mates at Wrockstock. Hope you enjoy!

Summary: Draco is sporting a new pair of socks.

"What are those?" Ron exclaimed.

Draco hastily pulled his trousers down over his socks.

"Oh no you don't!" Ron said. "Fess up! I've never seen you wear anything but black or charcoal socks. Ever. In fact, as I recall, you have taunted most of my family at one time or another for wearing 'footwear becoming a house-elf'. Not that house elves wear clothing, but I presume you were referring to Dobby."

Draco glared at Harry, who simply sat there looking bemused, clearly holding back his laughter.

"Oh, Ronald, leave Draco alone!" Hermione interjected. "Dinner will be ready in about ten minutes. Would you like to do the honours of opening the wine, Draco?"

"Nice try, 'Mione, but I'm not letting this go." Turning his attention back to Draco - or more accurately, back to his feet - Ron continued, clearly not planning on letting up any time soon. With a swift movement, he had practically pounced on Draco, pulling up his pant leg to reveal the footwear in question.

"Do you mind?" Draco huffed, trying to pull his foot away.

"Not at all, Malfoy. "You can wear what --" He stopped talking, his face going pale as he sat staring transfixed at the moving figures on Draco's socks. "What the bloody hell are they doing?" he asked.

"Oh, let me see!" Hermione said, bouncing over.

"No!" shouted the three men. Hermione's eyes narrowed as she walked purposefully over to Draco, prying her husband's hand off Draco's trousers, as he tried to keep her from seeing the socks.

"Honestly! How bad could it --" Hermione stopped talking, much the same as Ron had. Her face, however, had gone scarlet. "Oh, my," she said, watching the figures with interest. "Those are some ... interesting socks you have there, Draco. They look like men ... naked ... moving --"

"Yes, well, they were a gift from Harry for Christmas," he explained, staring daggers at his boyfriend, who was grinning ear to ear. "Well, part of the gift anyway."

"Bloody hell, if they were part of it, what's the other part?" Ron asked, his face having regained its colour.

Harry looked slightly uncomfortable. "You don't really --"

"Harry told me," Draco interrupted, "that if I wore them tonight, I could choose any one of these ... er ... positions, and he would gladly oblige me this evening when we got home."

Ron went pale again, looking vaguely ill, as Hermione grinned and winked at a now smiling Draco. "I'll get that wine then," Ron offered.

"I was thinking," Hermione said a few hours later, after Harry and Draco had gone home for the night. "My birthday's coming up next month, and I thought that maybe ..."

"Hmm?"

"I think I might like some socks."
