This is a nice story, and I don't think it's fluffy. It just ends in a hopeful manner. I feel that Draco's illness was described realistically, with feeling and compassion.

It would be interesting to see how Harry's friends react to the new situation. They did not seem supportive at all and would probably try to sabotage their relationship.
